BASEBALL BAT WIELDING MAN ARRESTED

On 16/08/2026 at around 12:45 we received a report that a male had smashed windows at a property on Pennymoor Road, Stonydelph, with a baseball bat.

The offender was soon identified and officers visited their address wherein they located the baseball bat.

The 19-year-old male, from Stonydelph, was arrested for criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and theft - in relation to a separate offence.

He has since been released on conditional bail.
